The most important step you can take to change your life, is the first one.

How much do you love your life? Do you love yourself? Are you absolutely happy and content? Or do you want more? Maybe it’s a new career, perhaps its just building up more confidence, feeling sure of yourself and being at peace with who you are. Whatever it is you are striving for, Connect is part 2 in the journey to living your dream life. After healing past hurts and traumas with part 1 - Heal - connect is a coaching based approach to helping you reflect, go within, understand who you truly are, who you want to be and putting a plan together on how to get there.

As a Self-improvement coach I work with people from all walks of life to move from where they are, to where they want to be.

Do you know what will truly make you happy?

One of the toughest questions I ask my coaching clients is… “Whose dreams and aspirations are you chasing? The career you have, the life you live, your relationship, money, the car your drive, where you live, were these all your own choices? What led you to choose these things?”

Have you been conditioned by society to believe that life has to look a certain way, that you need to follow a specific blueprint for societies definition of “success”?

The easiest way to know if you are truly living your life “on-purpose” and aligned with your own values is to ask yourself one simple question…

“Am I truly happy with the way my life is right now?”

If you had to think really hard about that, chances are you are living life on someone else’s terms, at least to some extent.

  • You’re unhappy with your life the way it is, you wake up everyday and simply go through the motions, you feel lost, tired and unmotivated.

  • Your mind is filled with negative self-talk, while everyone is trying to lift you up, you keep putting yourself down. You are your toughest judge and constantly talk down to yourself in your head. Some examples of this are: I’m not good enough” “Bad things always happen to me” “I’m not capable:” “I don’t deserve success/happiness/love”

  • Looking at yourself in the mirror and saying “I love you, you’re amazing and you’ve got this” is about the hardest thing you could possibly think to do.
